Yes! The double-zip system lets you pack your clothes in, close the first zip, then use the second zip to compress everything down. Most travelers find they can fit significantly more in their bag than they expected. It works best with soft items like clothes, not rigid things like shoes or toiletry bottles.

Are they really lightweight enough for hand luggage?

Yes. The cubes themselves are made from lightweight rPET fabric, so they add minimal weight to your bag. The 4-piece set is designed specifically with carry-on travel in mind — fitting neatly into a weekender bag or standard carry-on without taking up more space than your clothes already do.

What are they made from?

The fabric is rPET — recycled polyester made from plastic bottles. It's lightweight, durable, water-resistant, and a more sustainable alternative to virgin polyester. The 4-piece set uses 8 recycled bottles. The 7-piece uses 14.

Can I wash them?

Yes. Hand wash in cold water and air dry. Avoid tumble drying or ironing — the fabric and zippers will last much longer if you do.
